Opening Ceremony’s "Perceptions of Reality" collection is inspired by the surrealistic work of René Magritte. The limited RTW collection brings to life the odd and marvelous world of Magritte, complemented with three footwear collaborations with Birkenstock, Vans and Manolo Blahnik. The selection interprets twelve of Magritte’s iconic works of art, translating them onto fashion, continuing the poetic and humorous nature of the artist’s original work. "Perceptions of Reality" is the extreme proximity between objects and the ordinary vs the abstract.
