David La Port
David Laport (1986) graduated as a fashion designer in 2012 from the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague. With his experimental final-collection of wind-blown up – silhouettes he received a lot of media coverage. After a year of freelancing it is now time to take a next step; presenting a new experimental woman’s-wear collection in January 2014 at Amsterdam Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Founded by Claire Michel. Undisputed protagonists of her creations are the prints, hand-painted and one-of-a-kind, printed on eco-conscious fabrics and transformed into the spectacular pieces that make up this capsule. Inspired by the tribes of the valley of the Omo River in Ethiopia, the collection features oversized and sculptural shapes, almost like wearable sculptures, to feel in communion with nature.
