Christa Joo Hyun D’Angelo has Korean-Italian and American roots, born in Busan, South Korea and raised In NYC. Christa was a pupil of art critic TJ Demos at The Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. She studied Painting and Anthropology before transferring to The Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Poland. During her stay in Poland she traveled extensively throughout Europe. In 2006 she received her BFA in Painting.
