Nomads

Named after the Bedouin wanderers of North Africa and Arabia, it's decked out like a Sultan's boudoir with low, carpeted and cushioned tables and thick, finely crafted curtains separating the sections. You eat lying down but when the waitresses who look like supermodels come to take you order you're likely to stand to attention. A modish see-and-be-seen venue for the local fashion and media crowd, it's owned by the same group as Supper Club. The food is a spicy Mid - East and North African mix and costs a bit, as do the cocktails, but then you'd pay a lot more for a flight to Jordan or Morocco. And here you get belly dancers, great looking girls - and a magic carpet ride for free!
