2nd Skin Watch

Second Skin’ a prototype watch by Russian-born, New York based designer, Svetlana Blum. The futuristic design works as both a captivating time-piece and stylistic bangle. Made out of PU and metal, the LED lights switch on through a touch of the surface display in order to reveal the time. The time’s displayed in a simple format, showing the the hours on one side and five-minute intervals of the hour, on the other. The designer has recently exhibited other works which involve the conceptualisation of light, including a recent instillation piece at the Light Art Biennial in Austria this year.

Creep S/S 2011

Taking on Hiroshi Awai as the creative director in 2008, Creep has enjoyed continued success under the Toronto-based designer. Pushing an agenda of Japanese sensibilities with traditional utilitarian American workwear, the combination is apparent in various cases over the brand’s 2011 spring/summer collection. Light-colored patterns and a generally more casual aesthetic are prominent traits for this forth coming range.

The radical geometries of Gareth Pugh's monochromatic designs are like armoury for futuristic night fighters. Although associated to the Rick Owens group and quite macabre, Gareth emanates more of a sense of adventure and the essence of British fashion.

Damir Doma have just released these leather lace-ups as part of their fall winter range for the close of this year. The avant-garde design features two waxed lacing systems, a premium leather upper in an all black colorway, finished with white leather lining.
